Remembering your target speed on at 60 or 90 degrees wind angle in 12 or 16 knots is no longer a memory test. Now you can have charts with the data visible to everyone on board.
ORA automatically generates these performance packages for boats with ORR-Ez certificates. They are simple to read, have an immediate download and includes an Expedition Tactical File Download .zip file for those with Expedition software. Each package is customer tailored to your exact boat with the specific sails declared on your certificate.
The new Polar Table reads in both Boat Speed and Time Allowance; Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker and adjusts from the standard 10 meter wind height to the mast head height listed on your certificate where your wind instruments are mounted.
The Handy Guides and Quick Glance Charts are intended to be laminated and/or ”taped to the bulkhead” for easy reading by the skipper, navigator and crew. They are customizable for True and/or Apparent wind speeds and angles, whichever you prefer, or both if you can’t decide.
